Inaugural Deepavali do a hit among MPSp staff

THE first ever Deepavali celebration at the Sepang Municipal Council (MPSp) building in Cyberjaya was a joyous affair.

It was organised by the council’s sports and welfare club committee members, a first since the council’s inception four years ago.

Many came dressed in traditional Indian wear and enthusiastically posed for photos next to the kolam at the lobby.

Later, the staff members helped themselves to a spread of thosai, chicken curry, ais-kacang, roast mutton, and an assortment of kuih while enjoying the cultural performances on stage.
