PUTRAJAYA: The Primary School Achievement Test (UPSR) results will be released on Thursday, said Education Director-General Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom.

“Pupils can collect their results from their respective schools from 10am onwards,” he said at an event to celebrate the success of the Malaysian contingent named the overall champion at the World Robot Olympiad 2009 in Korea.

In September, 517,908 Year Six pupils sat for the examination.

For the first time, all Year Six pupils sat for an Aptitude Test on the last day of their UPSR, which had 60 multiple-choice (objective) questions in three areas — thinking skills, problem-solving and decision-making, and interests.

He said earlier that the Aptitude Test grade would be listed in the UPSR slip but had no bearing towards the final result.
