GOLFERS will say thatit takes a week to learn the sport but a lifetime to master.
Putting natural talent, developed skills and practice aside, one can master the game faster with the assistance of proper equipment.
After extensive research involving golfers from all levels, Callaway has come up with the equipment that enables golfers to enjoy the game better.
“We spent more than double of what our competitors spent on research and development to ensure that our customers get the best.
“That is why we can provide the products with the latest technology so they can enjoy the sport better,” said Callaway Golf senior director of International Brand Management Daniel Beamer.
He added that the brand’s New Legacy drivers 2010 come in the classic all-titanium driver.
The hyperbolic face technology provides maximum distance but with better control. The stretch head design allows golfers to hit ideal high trajectory ball easily.
The new Diablo Edge and Diablo Edge Tour drivers are designed to give golfers a distance advantage every time they tee off.
“They also offer superior face technology which becomes the longest, most accurate all-titanium drivers Callaway Golf has ever made,” he said.
Meanwhile, the FT-iZ and FT-iZ Tour drivers are longer and straighter than anything Callaway Golf has ever made.
He said Callaway Golf’s engineers used an entirely new design to produce the drivers. It provides stability, consistency, incredible feel and increased linear acceleration of the ball.
“The chemically-milled hyperbolic face cup uses a chemical reduction process to selectively remove unwanted material for precision thickness control.
“The aerodynamic body design uses a progressive shape to produce our most efficient high inertia clubhead ever,” he added during the product launch held at The Saujana, Kuala Lumpur, recently.
The drivers are priced between RM1,390 and RM2,690.
In addition to the drivers, the company also launched its new fairways, irons, wedges and balls from the series.
Meanwhile, the company’s director for South East Asia showing Gary Clay said they hoped the improving economy in the region would boost their sales next year.
