Boy dies after crashing car into drain

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy who had borrowed his friend’s car to buy breakfast died after crashing it into a monsoon drain in Jalan Nenas in Bandar Putra in Klang, Tamil Nesan reported.

The boy, identified as S. Jagan Mohan, was trying to avoid a pedestrian who was crossing the road, the paper reported.

The boy, who had completed his PMR examinations last month, died on the spot after suffering from severe injuries.

Jagan had borrowed the car from the friend who came to his house. He had asked his friend to wait in the house while he bought breakfast from a nearby shop at about 10am on Wednesday.

She said that she was returning the award for her performance in the tele serial Arasi as several other deserving actors, actresses and technicians had been overlooked by the Small Screen Artistes Association.

She said such awards were being given to prominent personalities to ensure their presence at the event.
