SOME irresponsible residents in Kampung Baru Kundang need to be taught how to throw rubbish into the bins.

Kampung Baru Kundang Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) chairman Wong Seng Fock said this after seeing garbage bags and rubbish strewn around and outside the garbage dumping site in the area.

“We requested for a proper garbage dumping site and the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) erected a cemented area.

“People are supposed to dump their garbage in the enclosed area. But that does not seem to be the case,” he said.

He also added that the rubbish and plastic bags also attracted stray dogs and cats.

“I hope the residents will learn to act more responsibly.

“Those caught throwing rubbish indiscriminately will be fined by the council,” Wong said.
