THE Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) are looking forward to raising about RM1.9mil from the MRCS Charity Golf Invitational at the Mine Resort and Golf Club on Nov 14.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is expected to lead the players in the championship.
Organising chairman Datuk Wira Dr Bahari Abu Mansur said they were expecting about 100 participants for the 18-hole championship.
“We welcome the support, contribution and participation, especially from corporate bodies as well as philanthropists. The MRCS Charity Golf Invitational will serve as an excellent platform for all Malaysians to engage with the noble efforts of the MRCS in providing critical assistance and medical care as well as ambulatory services during times of distress and emergencies all over the nation,’’ said Dr Bahari.
