TENAGA Nasional Berhad’s annual Deepavali open house at the TNB sports complex held on Tuesday was a glittering affair.
Human Resources MInister Datuk Dr S. Subramaniam was the guest of honour.
Others present were TNB Tenaga Nasional Bhd chief executive officer Che Khalib Mohamed Nor, chairman Tan Sri Leo Moggie and TNB director Tan Sri Hari Narayanan.
Deputy Foreign Minister Senator A. Kohilan Pillay, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk S.K. Devamany and Malaysian Associated Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Datuk K. K. Eswaran were also present.
The entertainment included a peacock dance as well as cultural dances of the other races in Malaysia.
Subramaniam lighted the kuthuvilaku (oil lamp) and also cut a cake before presenting ang pow packets to more than 100 children from various homes in the Klang Valley.
