A library to dine at

What say you on the issue below?

SOME go to a library to study; others to read but who goes to the library to eat and drink? You will be able to do just that if you check out The Library, the newest food and beverage outlet at First Subang.

The popular and iconic outlet has checked in at this new mall, Subang Jaya’s latest hotspot.

Adding to the uniqueness, it is the first to carry a Japanese theme — the Toshokan concept (Toshokan means The Library in Japanese).

Nippon-philes will appreciate the true Japanese hospitality and entertainment offered at this Japanese-themed outlet.

New outlet: Kimono-clad girls posing outside the first Japanese-themed The Library at First Subang.

It will feature Japanese-influenced performances together with other sensational, award-winning entertainers and bands.

Patrons can check out the outlet’s menu with its bibliography of Japanese selections interleaved with western gastronomic delights.

On the shelves is the largest selection of beers, both imported and locally-brewed.

Weekly surprises are also added to the regular offerings to tease patrons’ palates.

The outlet occupies more than 336 sq m of dining area with an additional 75 sq m alfresco seating. Operations began on Oct 1 and it is open from noon daily. With the opening, there are currently five restaurants throughout Klang Valley and Selangor.

They are the Oriental-themed “Tu Shu Guan” at IOI Boulevard, French-themed “La Bibliotheque” at Avenue K and at MidValley City and the Library at e@Curve.

New openings are expected soon at SS2 Mall, Penang, Klang Bukit Tinggi, Johor Baru, Malacca and Kota Kinabalu.
