It’s raining meatballs!

WITH a special menu featuring various meatball dishes, it was almost literally raining meatballs at the GSC Signature food outlets at The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley, in Kuala Lumpur.

The promotion, which ends on Nov 11, is being held in conjunction with the screening of the movie Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

“The meatballs are served in a variety of styles, with both Western and Asian flavours,” said Glitters Cafe executive chef Benny Das.

Those who want a traditional pasta dish could go for the Meatball Spaghetti (RM17.90) with either a tomato- or cream-based sauce.

“The meatballs are available in either chicken or beef,” Das said.

The Skewered Meat Balls (RM13.90) is a simple dish if you want to taste the meatballs on its own, grilled with cut vegetables and served with a mixed salad.

For a more Asian dish, the Curry Meatball (RM13.90) is cooked with a thick curry gravy that is slightly spicy and served with rice and papadam.

The Meatball Spaghetti is also available in a cream-based sauce

Other items on the menu include the Sweet Sour Meatball (RM15.90), Pita Pockets stuffed with Roast Beef (RM11.90) and the Meatball Stewed with Mix Vegetables (RM15.90).

Besides meatballs, there is also the Foot Long Sausage with Onion Gravy (RM13.90), which is made with chicken meat.

Das said the Glitters Beef Burger (RM17.90) was made with homemade beef patties.
