SHAH ALAM: Police are working on several leads on the attempted ATM robbery from a bank in Kota Kemuning.

Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar said police had identified a few people and were closing in on them.

“We are still investigating and collecting evidence,” he said after launching a new community police station in Cahaya SPK, Puncak Perdana, here yesterday.

In another development, DCP Khalid said the police had yet to identify the culprits responsible for the Molotov cocktail attack on a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission vehicle in Klang in August.

On former Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo who lodged a police report on Sept 17 saying he received a death threat via an anonymous letter, DCP Khalid said police had sent the letter to the forensics department for examination but there were no clear fingerprints or DNA trace on it.
