Beauties to display batik

FIFTY-FIVE young beauties are vying for this year’s Miss Tourism International title that will be held on Dec 31 simultaneously with a New Year’s Eve party.

Today, the contestants will be visiting the Proton Showroom in Shah Alam and Karyaneka in Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur.

The contestants will also be taking part in the Batik Fashion Show at Karyaneka.

They will be clad in attire created by 20 designers.

Today we feature delegates from Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia and South Africa.

MISS SOUTH AFRICA: This beautiful 25-year-old contestant loves horse riding. Standing at 5’6”, Charlstenne Van Der Heyde works as an administration manager back home. Her ambition is to be an accountant.

MISS MACEDONIA: Standing at 5’ 7”, Ivana Manasievikj is a gorgeous 23-year-old student. Her free time is normally spent on folk dancing, reading and painting. She hopes to be a doctor.

MISS KYRGYZTAN: Ksenia Barannikova, 18, is a 5’11”- tall journalist also loves singing and modelling. Her dream is to win the title and promote her country.
