Have yourself a merry feast

BEACON Point Restaurant in Ipoh is laying out the welcome mat this festive season.

Their well-loved Christmas Eve buffet dinner will kick off the celebration.

Elegant main dish: Stuffed Chicken Drumstick with Mosaic Roll

Among the dishes are roast USA turkey and New Zealand lamb shoulder.

Diners can also enjoy the Asparagus Farfelle with Mint Pesto, Ansaladilla and Mousakka.

No meal will be complete without desserts. Beacon Point will be serving the all-important traditional fruit cake along with Fresh Fruit Mirror and Pina Colada Crumble.

For Christmas Day, there will be a set lunch which starts off with Creamy Cannellini Bean and Pasta Chowder with Garlic Toast followed by the main meal.

Yuletide offering: Salmon served with vegetables

If you a traditionalist, you must try the USA Roast Turkey with Cranberry Sauce and Chestnut and Herb Bread stuffing. Otherwise, go for sizzling Rosemary New Zealand Lamb Shoulder or Norwegian Salmon cooked Cajun style with Gherkins and Mango Relish.

For dessert, there is Baked Fruit.

Beacon Point, which is located in Ipoh Garden East, is also cooking up delicious dishes to usher in the New Year.

A buffet dinner will be served on Dec 31 followed by a set lunch on New Year’s Day.
