KUALA LUMPUR: A company has launched a safety enhanced crash helmet for motorcyclists and their pillion riders.
According to GIVI Asia, the helmet was available in four sizes to ensure that every rider was securely protected.
GIVI Asia general manager On Hai Swee said motorcyclists needed to understand that in order for a helmet to be effective, it must be the right fit.
“Not too big that it is loose on your head, and not too small that is tight and uncomfortable.
“We have developed helmets of different sizes, and our dealers will receive training and appropriate equipment to do so,” he said at the launch of the firm’s “One Size Does Not Fit All” helmet campaign at a hotel here on Saturday.
More than 500 dealers from various countries including South Korea, Philippines, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore and South America attended the launch and gala dinner.
The firm’s overseas operations manager Joseph Perucca said the main concern was providing the right accessories to ensure maximum safety for the biker.
“Quality and safety are two words which do not go with cheap!
“This is really just a small investment to obtain premium quality and safety, in comparison to the highest expense of paying with your life,” he said.
