HOMEGROWN fashion ace Le Ann Maxima unveiled cutting-edge styles from its Fall/ Holiday 2009/2010 collection at its flagship store in Jaya One, Petaling Jaya recently.
Setting the mood for an evening of glitz and glam were a stellar cast of celebrity friends such as Deborah Henry, Sazzy Falak, Jojo Struys, Yasmin Hani, Hannah Lo, Dynas and Raja Atilia who were garbed in their personal favourites from Le Ann Maxima.
The light-hearted gathering started off with light refreshments and zesty shooters courtesy of Brisik, before much-loved model and host, Marion Caunter brought up the level of anticipation yet another notch with her welcome address.
The show opened with a musical repertoire by Kuala Lumpur’s jazz artiste, Raja Atilia who performed two spellbinding numbers, followed by a sneak preview of the collection.
Models took centre stage with Le Ann Maxima’s latest collection of Connections, Transform and Extraordinary.
Featuring everything from the latest in tailored chic casuals, sizzling mix and match pieces, exquisite evening wear, handbags, footwear and accessories, the models channelled elegance with every swish.
Connections made its call for a whole new level of sophistication with a demure collection of monochromatic apparels comprising houndstooth blouses and shift dresses that were inspired from architectural minimalism and structured silhouette.
Transform, on the other hand, slipped into luxurious fabrics such as silk, twill and herringbone in new-age designs that embraced the Fall/ Holiday season.
With a wild mix of sexy brights and modern baroque motifs, the collection was all about transforming from the basics to a softer, urban feminine look.
Finally, Extraordinary comprised a dreamy palette infused with gem stones such as topaz, amethyst, ruby, turquoise and black for that head-turning power.
Sexy yet subtle, the collection mainly included festive pieces such as cocktail dresses, flowy long dresses and embroidered tops.
The event was supported by Hair Atelier, that created mane masterpieces. Stella-In Beauty Academy was responsible for the luminosity and glow of the models.
