Residents of home enjoy a sweet time

RESIDENTS of Penang Cheshire Home were treated to delicious food including lots of ice-cream during a visit by 20 members of the Malay-sia Hindhudharma Mamandram of Penang.

The organisation’s secretary S. Jothimani said that the annual visit under its welfare programme was aimed at providing care and support for the home’s residents.

“We are glad that we are able to bring joy to them through our visits,” said Jothimani.

The residents sang various songs and played games. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held during the recent visit.

Also present were the organisation’s president V. Nandakumar and the home’s honorary secretary Ong Ghee Thuan.
