Guests treated to fine food, champagne and gifts at Fall showcase

IT was a day to remember for the fashionable folks who attended The Gardens Mall’s first “Swig & Swag Afternoon”.

Held at The Gardens Club Lounge, which was transformed into an autumn wonderland, the party saw a guest list of celebrities, industry leaders and media members gathered in celebration of the latest Fall collections.

Showcased were the latest styles from Marks & Spencer, GraffiTee and Gallo by Thian as well as two new additions to the mall, Oroton and Zsiska. Among the guests were musicians Dennis Lau and Yuri Wong, TV hosts Xandria Ooi and David Yee, radio deejays Serena C and Jeremy Teo and model-actor Daniel Tan.

Guests were treated to a selection of fine canapes and champagne. Also served at the event was exclusively mixed cocktails, courtesy of Belvedere Vodka, before the Fall fashion preview.

The Gardens Mall’s F&B tenants such as Delectable by Su, Moo Cow Frozen Yogurt, Ireland’s Potato and Gong Cha contributed to the fare that guests were able to enjoy. There was also a small pampering zone with hand massages by Burt’s Bees and manicures by Madaline Nail & Waxing Salon by Glitters.

“This is a celebration of what Fall fashion is at The Gardens Mall and we are indeed honoured to introduce two new additions to the family – Oroton and Zsiska. The event was also a success due to support from partners Shiseido and Centro Hair Salon,” said Antony Barragry, CEO of The Gardens Mall.

The day was not over yet as The Gardens Mall had something special up their sleeve.

As a token of appreciation to members of the media and celebrities who have supported the mall through the years, each guest was able to go through a “SWAG” area to select a variety of items to take home. The gifts included products from Shiseido, Marks & Spencer, Burt’s Bees, Dr Brandt, Laura Mercier, SRM, Mulberry, DKNY, Oroton, Zsiska, Gallo by Thian and GraffiTee.
