Perodua re-introduces Twitter-based service

PERODUA is re-introducing the Tweckbot, the first-of-its-kind Twitter-based free safety check in Malaysia, for the upcoming year-end and Chinese New Year festive periods.

“Due to popular demand, we are again offering this service to our customers.

“This time around, we are extending the services to three other cities,” said Perodua managing director Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.

Apart from the Klang Valley, Perodua will extend the service to Penang, Ipoh and Johor Baru for the four-weekend campaign which kicks offrecently.

The Tweckbot teams will be in Ipoh from Dec 2 to 4, Johor Baru from Dec 9 to 11 and in the Klang Valley from Dec 16 to18.

The teams will carry out a 20-point check that include the engine, transmission, coolant system (including coolant level as well as fan and temperature), brake system (including brake fluid and brake pad wear), power steering system, clutch system, tyres, suspension, electrical systems (including battery, lights and wiper checks) and engine diagnosis.

The areas covered in Ipoh are Ipoh Garden, Canning Garden and Kampung Simee (Dec 2); Bercham, Pasir Puteh and Bandar Baru Tambun (Dec 3) and Taman Happy, Taman Mayfair, Taman Bunga Raya and Taman Sin Far (Dec 4).

Perodua owners in Johor Baru can catch up with the Tweckbot teams at Taman Sri Tebrau, Taman Serene, Taman Pelangi and Pasir Pelangi (Dec 9); Taman Perling, Taman Sutera and Taman Permata (Dec 10) and Taman Sri Skudai, Taman Skudai, Taman Harmoni 1 and Taman Nesa (Dec 11).

The Tweckbot teams will be in the Klang Valley at the following locations — Taman Maluri, Taman Connaught, Taman Muda and Taman Len Sen (Dec 16); Kepong Lama, Jinjang Utara and Selatan and Jalan Ipoh (Dec 17) and SS2 Petaling Jaya, Bandar Utama, Damansara Jaya, Taman Mayang and Taman Megah (Dec 18).

Customers whose vehicles need repairs or service will be offered a 15% discount on selected parts at all Perodua Service branches.

To secure an appointment, Perodua customers need to have a Twitter account and follow the Perodua team on @MYPerodua to know where and when the Tweckbot team will be in their neighbourhoods.
