THE vibe of summer continues into fall as Guess Jewellery heats up the scene with an assortment of vivid colours to get a woman’s heart racing.

Accentuating the sexy confidence of the Guess girl, vibrant metallic hues of genuine crystal pave hearts are available in fuchsia, violet, red, blue and black. The centre is framed by an enamel scripted logo and crystal encrusted mini heart.

With such enticing colours, the collection is polished with a feminine touch that makes it suitable for any occasion.

Guess Jewellery has also introduced a new collection of 12 pendants. Whether sexy or playful, the styles give the wearer the opportunity to reflect her personality.

“We forsee this pendant collection to be a strong trend through the fall season,” says Guess Jewellery senior vice-president Eric Russack in a press release. “It is playful, colourful, and a look every girl wants to own.”

Highlights from the pendant collection include coloured crystal encrusted bears, a fanciful mermaid and a glamorous princess. Other distinctive designs include a puppy, mouse and panda. There is a combination of genuine crystal, coloured enamel accents and a variety of metal finishes.

There is also the “Heart Obsession”-themed collection, showcasing edgy, oversized designs. The collection features crystal encrusted hearts with a scripted enamel logo. It sparkles through the day and into the evening with either red and black or silver and black crystal accents.

There are varied designs of bracelets to choose from.

With an assortment of necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings, a fashionista will be able to pick and choose from this collection to update her look.

The heart shape is a popular design this season.

The second boutique in South-East Asia (after Jakarta) to emerge as a “black beauty”, this retail outlet is located at The Gardens in Kuala Lumpur. It falls in line with the brand’s latest Global Accessories Concept, with a taste for the dramatic when it comes to showcasing its range of handbags, watches, footwear, eyewear, jewellery, fragrance and small leather goods.

“Our global store expansion is possible due to the strength of our brand and our licensee relationships,” says Guess co-founder and fashion designer Paul Marciano of the new boutique makeover.

A runway-like showcase with midnight-coloured mannequins draped with the season’s latest accessories dominate the central space, as the tubular lighting fixtures add a whiff of space-age sexy.

Although the colour black takes centre stage in the boutique, the effect is in no way monotonous with a constant play of textures, from the plush stools to the weave-effect of the walls flanking the display cases.

Given the playful, vibrant and attention-grabbing nature of the label’s accessories, it seems fitting that the ebony aura allows the products to shine in individually-lit showcases and wall systems that display the collections.

Boyfriends and husbands need not fret, for a selection of men’s small leather products, eyewear and watches are on show. Otherwise, a full height video wall at the back of the store is on hand to entertain with continuously rotating Guess campaign images and runway videos.
