NCSM honorary adviser Datuk Zuraidah Atan said the society was looking for generous individuals, organisations and companies to sponsor and organise the annual fundraising event which was now into its third year.
She said the tea party was a joint-project with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia in honour of cancer survivors.
She said the sponsors could organise the event at their premises and invite cancer survivors as guests.
"The concept of the tea party is to promote awareness of cancer.
"The party will give the public a chance to mingle and talk with the survivors and learn more about the disease.
"Everyone can become a host and by participating, they will help us to raise funds and create awareness while having fun at the same time," she said at the first tea party at NCSM headquarters in Kampung Baru yesterday.
Some 50 cancer survivors, all women, attended the party.
She said they would continue to organise the parties until Sunday.
"We've managed to attract sponsors, including Sabah Tea Sdn Bhd and the Australian International School."
