The marriage was solemnised by Mukim Kambau marriage official Zulkipli Tarmizi at Memey's family home in Felda Tenggaroh Selatan I here at 5.10pm. Family members on both sides attended.
Norman's children from his previous marriage to actress Abby Abadi, Mohamed Danish Hakim, 8, and Marissa Dania Hakim, 6, were also present.
Norman presented Memey with five trays of gifts and a RM24,000 dowry, while Memey responded with seven trays of gifts.
Memey, who was wearing a pearl-encrusted dress, jewellery and shoes, all worth RM7.2 million, spoke of her delight that the ceremony went smoothly.
The couple's nuptials has been touted as the celebrity wedding of the year with various parties sponsoring it.
Norman, who fought back tears, said he had no qualms about Memey continuing her acting career and would lend his support.
Norman said they planned to honeymoon in Paris and Mecca but had yet to set the date as they were tied down with their acting schedules until the end of the year.
The couple will hold a wedding reception at Memey's family house today as well as at the Crowne Plaza Mutiara, Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday.
