Carina Lau and Tony Leung's marriage was said to be on the rocks again.
When Carina attended an event in Hong Kong recently, the actress denied the news report, saying the writer has a bad character for generating the rumour.
"Aiya, you have to ask the writer, I don't know how to answer or why he or she wrote such a report," she said when asked about her marriage problems.
"Perhaps some magazines made up ridiculous stories to attract readers."
However, Carina admitted that she and Tony had small arguments sometimes.
"This matter does not only happen in married couples, but in boyfriend and girlfriend or even between friends.
"This is life… you all shouldn't be so sensitive. I just laugh it off," she said, adding she would be going on a vacation with the actor husband soon.
At the event, the star also wore a sexy low-cut dress to prove that she is not pregnant, as speculated.
