Micro Four Thirds camera showdown

What say you on the issue below?

COMPETING: The E-PL3 (left) with its closest rival, the GF3, both of which have similar sensors and features.

It is hard to imagine that it has only been three years since the first Micro Four Thirds (MFT) camera was introduced.

The format has quickly gained ground and become popular with users wanting to upgrade from their compact cameras.

Amateur users and professional photographers who need a secondary camera have taken to the format because the cameras are small, light, easy-to-use and snap better pictures than compacts.

The MFT cameras also record full HD videos which makes them an attractive alternative to an entry-level DSLR.

A wide variety of lenses are also available for them especially from Olympus and Panasonic. We check out two new MFT cameras - the Olympus E-PL3 and Panasonic GF3 - to find out how they fare against each other.
