KLANG: Four men, three of them foreigners, have been arrested in connection with the robbery and brutal murder of a security guard at a factory in Telok Gong.

Police were investigating if the robbery was an inside job, said district police chief Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop.

He said the suspects, a local and three Vietnamese, were picked up on Sunday evening.

Suresh Ramachandran, 36, was found in a pool of blood inside the factory’s guardhouse early on Sunday. His face was slashed, throat slit and stomach stabbed, and there was also a wire around his neck.

ACP Mohamad said the suspects had been remanded until Wednesday for further investigations.
