KOTA Permai Golf & Country Club (KPGCC) organised a Ramadan buffet dinner for 45 orphans from Rumah Amal Cahaya in USJ, Subang recently.
The orphans, aged between one and 17, were delighted upon reaching the club’s ballroom where the buffet dinner was being served.
There were live band performances by Al-Faralbhi.
The orphans enjoyed tucking into the array of food at the buffet table.
Among the specialties were Kambing Bakar, Ikan Masak Lemak, Rendang Ayam, Nasi Opah, Gulai Kawah, Satay, Sushi, Malay traditional kuih and many more.
The management, led by its general manager Tang Meng Loon and club manager Sharudin Kamarudin gave out duit raya to the orphans.
Among those present were the club’s golf committee chairman Ng Say Hoe, liaison committee chairman Chong Thean Yong and social committee chairman Lim Ming Lee.
