Ops Sikap death toll climbs to 261

What say you on the issue below?

Bumper-to-bumper crawl: A sea of vehicles seen at the toll plaza along the Cheras Highway heading towards Petaling Jaya yesterday. The jam was blamed on city folk returning to work after the long Hari Raya holidays. Traffic was also congested along the Federal Highway, Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Mahameru, Jalan Sungai Besi and Jalan Duta.

KUALA LUMPUR: There were 261 road fatalities recorded under Ops Sikap from Sept 13 to Sunday.

On Sunday alone, 23 people died from 931 accidents reported, said a statement from Supt Rasdi Ramli of the Bukit Aman public relations department. Of the 23 deaths, motorcyclists comprised 12, car accidents claimed eight lives, and the other three were pedestrians.
