A CAR wash in Singapore is offering customers a “one-day only erotic experience” of having topless women wash their vehicles.
Sin Chew Daily reported that Tease & Wash was offering the topless service as a promotion in the run-up to its official opening on Oct 1.
Its founder, Gerald Chen, 29, promised that the promotion would only feature “real” women washing the cars, and not men disguised as the fairer sex to trick customers.
He hinted coyly that the date for the “titillating car wash experience” had been fixed for one of the days between Sept 26 and Oct 1.
Admitting that such a promotional tactic was daring, he nevertheless said “it had to be different” to attract the attention of potential customers.
The company had uploaded several clips as teasers for its promotion on the popular video sharing network Youtube.
> The daily also reported that Malaysia’s plastic industry experienced a 16.6% drop in turnover in the first half of the year from over RM8bil last year to RM6.7bil.
It quoted Malaysian Plastic Manufacturers Association chairman Lim Kok Boon as saying that exports had also slid by 22.7% from RM4.59bil to RM3.55bil.
Lim said the reason for the drop in exports was mostly due to a decrease in demand from developed countries.
> Nanyang Siang Pau reported that a pair of “superior breed” guppy fish could now fetch between RM400 and RM500 compared to just RM20 and RM30 two years ago.
It said the price for the colourful fish could even go up to RM700 to RM800 a pair in China.
