TO ACTOR-cum-TV presenter Zizan Nin, the fasting month is not an excuse to put aside the things he normally does.
Zizan still finds time to exercise at the gym and play golf with his friends.
“I will usually go about my daily routine after breaking fast and prayers.
Favourite food: Zizan enjoying his seafood spaghetti pasta for buka puasa. “Just because it is the fasting month does not mean we should stop doing everything.
“It is all about balancing your life; even when breaking your fast, I think moderation is important.
“Some people tend to eat a lot at breaking fast, but I will eat something light and then eat the main course after my prayers,” he said.
When asked what his favourite dish was during the fasting month, Zizan said he had a soft spot for sweet things.
“I like desserts like Malay kuih, ,buah melaka and jellies.
“But, this year, I have developed a craving for Arabic food like biryani lamb and chicken mendy.
“I do miss my mother’s cooking, too, because even though you can get the same food outside, it is just not the same.
“However, my top favourite food has to be the seafood spaghetti pasta at Alexis restaurant,” he said.
He said the presentation, coupled with the rich taste of the pasta, made it unbelievably good.
