SUNSILK Malaysia has embarked on a nationwide mission to educate Malaysians on grooming aspects related to proper healthy haircare and styling.

The One Minute to Great Hair Campaign aims to interact with young Malaysians via roadshows and public talks in colleges and universities.

Experts will guide female participants on the importance of using hair conditioner after every wash to achieve great-looking hair, as well as educate them on and demonstrate the different ways of hairstyling and share haircare tips – even the most fashionable way of wearing a tudung.

The campaign also has an exciting contest element, whereby female participants are encouraged to form a blog with a clique of friends and choose a “makeover” model spokesman from the same group to be the official face of their blog.

The blog will have open discussions on grooming while being open to key topics which concern young Malaysians, such as career and relationships.

At the end of the contest, 20 university blog teams will be selected based on online blog traffic and points collected through the discount voucher programme.

The winning team will get an all-expense paid trip to Paris.

The girls will also get a glamorous makeover by French stylists and be taught the rudimentary steps to having great hair and haircare techniques by experts.

The contest also provides cash scholarships for the first, second and third places, valued at RM2,000, RM1,000 and RM500 respectively.

There are also special prizes for the Most Popular University Blog (RM300 plus Sunsilk products), the Most Creative Effort Blog (RM300 plus Sunsilk products) and the Most Attractive Hair/ Tudung Style (RM300 plus Sunsilk products).

All blogging teams that take part in the contest will be treated to ongoing monthly surprises, like having shared birthday parties, fashion shows and magazine interviews, even after the competition is over.
