RUMOURS are rife that love is blossoming between local actress Sharifah Amani Syed Zainal Rashid and Gavin Stenhouse, one of the leading actors in KRU Studio’s new film, Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa.
According to Utusan Malaysia’s pullout, Mega, the pair was seen breaking fast together recently and at a session to introduce the newborn twins of her sister, Sharifah Aleya, who is also an actress.
Sharifah Amani, fondly known as Nani, won the best actress award at the 19th Malaysian Film Festival. She remained secretive about the seriousness of their relationship, saying it was “still new.”
A source close to Nani said the couple are getting to know each other and always go out together.
Nani started getting close to Hong Kong-born Stenhouse, who plays Prince of Rome in the film, about two months ago where she is assistant coordinator for stunts.

She said she had previously lodged two police reports, including one on April 12 at the Kok Lanas police station, but there had been no progress because her complaints were said to be too complicated to be resolved.
The housewife said the woman has even called their home and related the sexual acts to her children.
She plans to file for divorce at the Lundang religious office.
