Simple energy booster

What say you on the issue below?

THIS sweet is a real energy booster with which to break fast. I learnt this very simple dish, usually eaten by Indian Muslims, from my colleague, Sunday Metro senior writer Faridah Begum.

While it is good on its own, you can also serve it with cream and fresh fruits like raspberries, strawberries and grapes. And, for those who are not fasting, this makes a great teatime snack.

SUGEE PANCAKE

Simple snack: Sugee pancake is usually eaten by the Indian Muslim community.

Ingredients

4 eggs
500g sugee
½ cup milk
Butter or ghee for frying

Method

Whisk eggs with sugar. Add milk and sugee and mix well.

Let stand for 10 minutes.

Oil the frying pan with butter or ghee.

Pour half the batter into the pan and let it set.

After 3 minutes, turn it over and let it cook through.

Remove from pan and keep warm.

Repeat the process with the rest of the batter.

Cut the cakes into wedges and serve.
