THE Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah graciously attended the “Majlis Berbuka Puasa DYMM Sultan Selangor bersama Rakyat dan Penyampaian Sumbangan Hari Raya” recently.
Organised by Gapurna Sdn Bhd, it was held at the Masjid Tengku Kelana Putra.
The programme started with the handing out of cash aid for the forthcoming Hari Raya celebrations by Sultan Sharafuddin to 300 people comprising orphans, the very poor and Muslim converts from the Petaling district. A special contribution of RM5,000 each was also presented to three needy families at the event.

Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, Selangor exco members, Tan Sri Halim Ali and Datuk Mohamad Salim Fateh Din and chairman and Group managing director of Gapurna were also present.
“We at Gapurna are blessed to be able to contribute and participate in making this event an annual one during the holy month of Ramadan” said Datuk Mohamad Salim Fateh Din, Group MD of Gapurna.
Gapurna is part of the Gapurna group and is involved in commercial property development.
