PETALING JAYA: PLUS Expressways Berhad has lodged a police report over the sale of fake toll receipts to heavy vehicle drivers and motorists.
Its chief operating officer Nik Airina Nik Jaffar said PLUS would cooperate fully with the police. and expressed confidence that the matter would be dealt with.
In a Starprobe report on Wednesday, it was revealed that the Serasi Tomyam Seafood restaurant near Simpang Renggam in Johor had been selling forged toll receipts to heavy vehicle drivers and motorists for RM5 and RM4 each, respectively.
It was reported that the forged receipts were identical to the ones issued from PLUS toll booths nationwide.
