THE Kuala Lumpur City Hall will discuss ways with the police to beef up security at Persatuan Ehsan Wanita & Anak-anak Kuala Lumpur (Pewanida) which is located on the second floor of a shoplot in Bandar Baru Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
Federal Territories Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin said this after launching the “Laman Sinar Budi” at the association.
“There are women and children here and the area is very exposed and in need of more police patrolling,” he said.
Nong Chik said he hoped that the cleanliness of the area could also be improved.

“Today, S.P Setia Foundation donated 15 computers to Laman Sinar Budi that is managed by Pewanida. Tabung Haji also gave RM500 each to some 50 single mothers who have opened an account with them.
“With the computers, the women can pick up IT skills while the children can gain educational knowledge from the Internet.
The Laman Sinar Budi has tables, chairs, restrooom, computers, dining area and a relaxation area for itsresidents.
Pewanida president Puan Sri Saidatul Akmal Rashid said that Pewanida was formed in 2004 to help single mothers and needy children.
