“Domino’s Fantasy Football is very well-received by the virtual managers with a good response to the online platform. We will continue to make football a fun and interactive experience for fans.

“Football and pizzas are indeed an ideal match and we are affirming our commitment to the beautiful game by connecting to football fans across the country in line with our promise to be the ultimate pizza delivery for football fans,” said Domino’s Pizza Malaysia and Singapore marketing manager Hasfahlinda Hassan.

Domino’s Fantasy Football League kicked off in conjunction with the 2010/2011 EPL season in August.

Participants of the game were given a virtual budget of £100mil to create their own fantasy football team by virtually buying players who played during the season.

Points were earned based on the actual players’ performances on the pitch.

Top scorers for each month were rewarded with a one-year supply of free pizzas whilst all participants received weekly e-coupons.

In conjunction with the prize presentation ceremony, a fun-filled football gala was held for the winner and representatives of fan clubs of the top EPL football teams.

Football fans had the chance to show off their skills by competing in a series of football drills and pop quizzes to test their knowledge.

The fun culminated in a friendly football match between the Domino’s team and the guests.

More than 80 fans sporting their favourite team jerseys attended the event.
