BANK Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has launched its Platinum MasterCard Credit Card recently.
This is in line with the bank’s commitment to continuously provide innovative and dynamic products.
The new BSN Mastercard is available in both conventional and Islamic schemes and offers a variety of features and benefits for cardholders.
“BSN aims to have 10,000 new Platinum Mastercard holders in its first year and we will continuously offer more benefits and privileges to reward both existing as well as new cardholders,” said BSN chief executive Datuk Adinan Maning.
Some of the benefits are waiver of annual fee, finance charges and facility fee as low as 11% per annum, 0% transfer programme, free travel insurance coverage of up to RM1mil and free BSN Zing PLUSMiles Card.
To ease the obligation on cardholders in paying service tax imposed on credit cards, principal cardholders will receive a cash reward of RM50 and 5,000 reward points for free while supplementary cardholders will receive RM25 and 2,500 reward points once they activate and use the card for the first time.
There are also double reward points for the purchase of airline tickets, dining, golf and overseas retail spending.
The accumulated points have no expiry date and can be used to redeem merchandise at any time.
Cardholders will also enjoy exceptional benefits and privileges via Mastercard moments programme focused on personal preferences such as hotel packages, travel, dining and golf.
Mastercard provides 24 hours concierge service.
In conjunction with the launch, BSN has also launched a “Win 1,000,000 Enrich Miles and Travel Around the World” contest.
Cardholders stand a chance to win Enrich Miles that can be redeemed for free flight tickets to their dream destinations.
The contest is until March 15 next year.
