KUALA LUMPUR: About 500 passengers waiting for their bus at the express bus station in Bukit Jalil Stadium were pleasantly surprised when a number of television personalities and radio deejays from Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) mingled among the crowd.
Among some of the TV personalities present were Suriani Abdul Rahman, Hafizal Ahmad, Hanim Muhili, Hezry Hashim and deejays from Muzik FM, Traxx FM, Asyik FM and KL FM.
The gathering of RTM personalities were part of its promotion campaign Ramah Mesra Personaliti RTM dan Perantau Pulang Beraya Ke Kampung which was held in conjunction with the 100 exciting programmes lined up by RTM throughout Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
RTM’s corporate communications assistant director Haida Baba Zain said the programme was aimed at promoting RTM to the people as well as to promote the programmes lined up by RTM.
Haida added that the personalities also distributed Hari Raya goodies and souvenirs like pens, note books, book marks, promotional leaflets and road safety brochures.
