THE stork was kept busy at Sime Darby Medical Centre Subang Jaya on the auspicious day of Sept 9. A set of twin boys were the first to start the count rolling, after being born past midnight.
A total of 11 baby boys and 10 baby girls were welcomed on this day.
The hospital went on a spree of gifting the babies with some tokens for remembrance. A goodie bag consisting of a specially made T-shirt that read “I am a 090909 Sime Darby Healthcare kid”, soft toy, congratulatory card and a towel was presented to the proud parents.
Administrator Patient Care Standards and Governance Dr Vasuhi Murugiah and Administrator Nursing Services Tan Bee Hoon, accompanied by the ward manager Koay Suan Sim went around the post-natal ward to spread the cheer to the families.
Bundles of joy: Chia and Yeo posing with their twins Parents of the twins, Vicky Chia and husband Robert Yeo were very excited with their addition to the family. The twins, both boys — Yeo Winn Sern and Yeo Hann Sern, were the first babies to usher in this lucky day at the hospital. They are the second and third children for the Yeos.
Another set of proud parents were Goo Tying Shi and Ng Kim Lian, who welcomed their first-born on this day.
