Takaful Malaysia is the main sponsor for various competitions organised as part of “Marhaban di Astro” road tour, including Islamic “Khat” writing, Islamic story-telling and Islamic-themed fashion competition.

The prizes offered by Takaful Malaysia included 10 Umrah packages and other cash prizes totalling RM100,000.

Despite observing their fasting obligation, the orphans clearly had a good time and were full of excitement and energy, picking out their favourite baju raya and a pair of new shoes each.

Amid their shopping spree, they were further treated to a surprise appearance by popular “Akademi Fantasia” celebrities as well as singers Aisyah and Yasin.

The highlight of the day was the Buka Puasa treat jointly hosted by Takaful Malaysia and Astro at the Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam.

The children and 250 other guests were further entertained by performances from the “Marhaban di Astro” entertainers.
