What say you on the issue below?

GOMBAK: Her father would usually send her to school on his motorcycle but yesterday, her mother walked her to school because her father was too tired. The girl never made it to school.

Mun May Poh, nine, was killed and her 51-year-old mother was seriously injured in an accident involving five vehicles.

May Poh and her mother were crossing the road near their house in Prima Selayang, near here, when they were hit by a motorcycle in the 6.30am incident yesterday.

The impact hurled them towards a moving Proton Wira, said Gombak OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Rahim Abdullah.

A trailer and another motorcycle trying to evade the Proton Wira were hit by another Perodua Myvi.

“May Poh died at the scene. Apart from her mother, two other people were injured in the accident,” he said yesterday.

May Poh, a Year Three pupil at the St Mary Convent in Prima Selayang, was the youngest of five children.

Her body has been sent to the Hospital Kuala Lumpur for a post-portem while her mother is at the Selayang hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

May Poh’s father, who only wanted to be identified as Mun, said he usually sent her to school on his motorcycle.

“I don’t know why they walked to the school which is about four kilometres from our house,” he said when met at the hospital yesterday.
