THE silence in Taman Setia Jasa multi-purpose hall in Paya Pulai, Temerloh, was broken when five students sitting for their SPM trial examination became hysterical, reported Kosmo!.
The incident which affected five SMK Paya Pulai female students occurred at 10am on Wednesday.
A teacher who declined to be named said the victims were taken to a nearby mosque to “protect them from further disturbance”.
“Four recovered immediately but one continued to babble incoherently for almost an hour in front of the mosque,” said the teacher.
The incident is not the first for students of the school. In the last five months, 73 of them had suffered from the same condition.
That was the reason why the school held its trials in the multi-purpose hall instead of the school hall.
Pahang Education director Datuk Abdul Aziz Abdul Latiff advised students who regularly suffer from hysteria to move to other schools.
