PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo did not appear at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office here on Friday to give his statement but said he intends to fully cooperate with the commission.
The former Selangor mentri besar, who would not say when he would meet with MACC officers, said he had nothing to hide and would provide the commission with any information it needed to complete its investigations.
He said he was called by the commission to give a statement over the issue of his bungalow in Shah Alam that was recently raised by the Opposition.
“I am arranging to meet with the MACC officers and will fully cooperate with them.
“I want to stress, however, that the investigations are not related to the Balkis (Wives of Selangor Assemblymen and MPs Charity and Welfare Organisation) issue but has to do with allegations over the purchase of the house in Shah Alam,” he said when contacted yesterday.
It is learnt that Dr Khir was unable to meet with MACC officers yesterday because he was not well.
