PETALING JAYA: No A(H1N1) fatality was recorded yesterday.
However, about 45 new patients with influenza-like illness were admitted to hospitals, while 140 were allowed to return home.
“This leaves 761 patients with ILI still warded in hospitals including private hospitals nationwide,” said Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Mohd Ismail Merican in a press statement yesterday.
He added that of the number, only 14% or 103 of them were confirmed with A(H1N1) through laboratory tests.
