32 kids from golf programme get to test their skills

What say you on the issue below?

IT WAS a memorable outing for 32 children enrolled in the US Kids Golf Learning Programme.

The children, aged below 12, had the opportunity to test their skills in the first of a series of monthly medal tournaments aptly named the Golf House Junior Series at the Bukit Jelutong Driving Range, Par 3 Course.

The tournament series has been created to provide boys and girls with the opportunity to advance their golf skills and knowledge of the game through appropriate competition at the local level.

The tournament presented families with a chance to spend quality time together while enjoying the game of golf.

Parental involvement is crucial for the development of young minds and those present encouraged their children affectionately while also acting as caddies.

For many of the juniors, it was their first time teeing off on an actual golf course and it proved to be an exciting experience for them.

During the tournament, they were seen applying their golf lessons learned into their game such as executing proper grip, stance and posture.

The Golf House Junior Series will consist of seven tournaments, and four quarterly tournaments, highlighted by a one-day season ending the Golf House Junior Series championship.

Free introductory lessons will be conducted at the Saujana Golf and Country Club tomorrow and Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club on Sunday.
