Hotel joins relief organisation and radio station in giving food aid

IN CONJUNCTION with Hari Raya Aidiladha, Dorsett Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur partnered with Islamic Relief Malaysia and IKIMfm in the Qurban Perdana IKIMfm 2011 event organised by Islamic Relief Malaysia.

A sponsorship handover ceremony was held at the Esquire Lounge of Dorsett Regency Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Hotel general manager, Christina Toh, handed over 200kg of rice, cooking oil as well as canned and bottled drinks to Islamic Relief Malaysia finance manager Sharlina Adnan.

“We recognise the importance of being involved with the community and doing our part for charity. We are glad to be part of this programme as the hotel believes in sharing and caring, especially on a special day like Hari Raya Aidiladha,” said Toh.

The Qurban Perdana IKIMfm 2011 was held on Monday from 8am until 3pm at the Yadim Training Centre, Sungai Semungkis, Hulu Langat Selangor.

There are a total of 400 beneficiaries from the Hulu Langat area as well as orphanages.
