THE Star’s Kuntum magazine is organising a series of four fun-filled holiday workshops for children aged seven to 12 from Nov 21 to 24, 2011.
The “Kuntum Holiday Enrichment Workshops 2011” will be held at the Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (Nov 21 to 23) and Jungle Lodge (Nov 24) in Batu 12¾, Gombak.
The workshop is aimed at developing life skills for children for their personal growth and leadership development.
Tropicana Golf and Country Resort, which is the venue and food and beverage sponsor, will be providing a safe and fun environment for the children to learn while enjoying themselves.
Young minds at work: Children participating in a previous Eco Warrior workshop. Registration for the workshops will take place at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort (Nov 21 – 23) while registration at Menara Star, Petaling Jaya is on Nov 24.
You can sign up for all four workshops at a special price of RM380 for Kuntum subscribers and Tropicana Golf and Country Resort members or RM460 for non-members.
Your child can also choose to participate in the different workshops:
— Leaders of Tomorrow (Nov 21) RM100 for resort members and RM120 for non-members.
– Mind-Mapping for Kids (Nov 22) RM130 for resort members and RM150 for non-members.
—Stand Up and Speak! (Nov 23) RM100 for resort members and RM120 for non-members.
—Eco-Warriors (Nov 24) RM130 for resort members and RM150 for non-members.
The fees cover lunch, two tea breaks and workshop notes.
The trainers at the event will include Joy Lim, who will facilitate the Mind-Mapping for Kids workshop, Harun Abu Bakar or better known as Cikgu Jinggo who will be conducting the Eco Warriors workshop and Mrs Jagjit Singh a highly-qualified and experienced English language specialist who will conduct the Stand Up and Speak! workshop focusing on the art of speaking effectively.
