KL-ITE Mohd Ismail Ibrahim had always wanted to own a Kia Forte 1.6EX so he took one for a test drive.
Recently, he became the proud owner of his dream car as he was announced as the grand prize winner of the Test Drive Kia On Tour 2011.
“I test drove the Forte on the first day of the roadshow at The Curve as I was planning to buy one. I didn’t think I would be winning the grand prize,” said Mohd Ismail, 38, at a special handover ceremony recently.

Some 9,000 entries were received for the Test Drive Kia On Tour 2011 grand prize. All participants who made a booking or test drove a Kia at the roadshow were eligible for the grand prize.
The Test Drive Kia On Tour 2011 roadshow began in May at the 1Utama shopping centre in Petaling Jaya, before moving to Penang in August and Johor Baru in September. The final leg of the roadshow was held at The Curve, Petaling Jaya last month.
Naza Kia Malaysia recorded a total of 600 bookings from the roadshows. The Forte was the most popular model followed by the Sportage, the Sorento and the Rondo.
Naza Kia Malaysia chief operating officer Datuk Hafiz Syed Abu Bakar said Naza Kia Malaysia was planning six legs for the Test Drive Kia On Tour 2012, adding that the popular roadshow would visit the east coast and Sabah and Sarawak.
