A gold bar up for grabs in campaign that ends on Dec 31

What say you on the issue below?

BUYERS who spend more than RM699 on gold and jewellery in any of the 300 participating outlets stand to win a 1kg gold bar worth RM200,000.

The Gold-Nanza is organised by the Federal Gems and Jewellers Associations of Malaysia (FGJAM) to encourage the younger generation to change their mindset that gold is old-fashioned and traditional.

Association president Ng Yih Pyng said the price of gold was appreciating and the campaign was to reward customers who purchase gold from now till Dec 31.

Yay for gold: (From left) FGJAM secretary Steven Siow Dek Kuen, FGJAM advisor Yap Eng Kee, FGJAM advisor Tan Sri Datuk Ng Teck Fong, Deputy Domestic Trade, Co-operatives & Consumerism Minister Datuk Tan Lian Hoe, Ng and FGJAM deputy president Ermin Siow Der Ming at the launch of the Gold-Nanza campaign.

As there are no limitations to the number of prizes one can win, the more you purchase the higher the chance of winning the grand prize.

Apart from the grand prize, there are 378 other prizes of gold worth more than RM400,000.

“The FGJAM hopes that this event will boost the economy of Malaysia by encouraging the public to purchase jewellery and gold,” Ng said.
