THE Classical Music Society (Selangor and Kuala Lumpur) Malaysia will be organising a solo classical guitar concert by famed guitarist Berta Rojas under the Bel Canto Concert Series and Seminars 2011.
Rojas from Paraguay is noted as a classical guitarist extraordinaire. The recording artiste teaches guitar at George Washington University in Washington DC, the United States, and is also Paraguay’s ambassador of tourism.
Solo show: Rojas, classical guitarist extraordinaire from Paraguay. Renowned for her flawless technique and innate musicality, Rojas ranks among today’s foremost classical guitarists.
Her concert on Nov 20 at 7.30pm will be held at the Bentley Music Auditorium in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
She will conduct a masterclass the following day at 10.30am at the Bentley Music Academy Recital Hall.
There is also a guitar retreat being organised from Nov 25 to 27 at the Gold Coast Morib Resort in Selangor.
