TONY ROMA’S recently unveiled its latest promotional offer, the 2-for-1 Grill Combo meal, for those who fancy more than one entree on a single plate.

Under the combo meal, which is available from now until July 24, diners can enjoy either Tony Roma’s signature beef ribs or filet medallion with one of six other dishes, with the various combinations priced differently.

You can have Tony Roma’s signature beef ribs or filet medallion with either bountiful beef ribs at RM69.90; freshly grilled salmon (RM65.90); flavourful shrimp scampi (RM59.90); South Miami fried shrimp (RM49.90); crispy chicken tenders (RM47.90); or the charbroiled BBQ quarter chicken (RM47.90).

The beef ribs, being the restaurant’s signature dish, is splendidly done while the filet medallion is tender. The grilled salmon is delightful to the tastebud with its special buttery sauce while both the fried shrimp and chicken tenders are crispy on the outside, and soft and tender inside. The BBQ quarter chicken is not to be missed as it is a healthy dish cooked with minimal oil.

Besides having two different mains on your plate, the grill combo meals also come with a choice of two side dishes. Diners can select their favourite side dishes to go with their mains. The side dishes range from coleslaw, corn on the cob, french fries, loaded mash potatoes, rice, ranch-style beans, fresh vegetables, baked potatoes to fire-roasted vegetable.

The combo meal is indeed hearty and Tony Roma’s is the place to go to for those who have a big appetite. Small eaters can choose to share their combo meals with others. The combo meal is also a good option for those who have always wanted to try out the various dishes listed in Tony Roma’s menu.

For beverages, there is a choice of specially discounted drinks to go with the combo meals. They include the strawberry lemonade mocktail for RM5.90 (usual price RM9.90), a 14oz glass of Carlsberg Draft for RM9.90 (RM16.90) and frozen strawberry romarita for RM12.90 (RM25.90).

Patrons who order the combo meals also have the chance to spin the Wheel of Grill Combo, which Tony Roma’s has set up at all its restaurants. Every combo meal entitles the patron to a spin of the wheel to win a prize such as a Tony Roma’s RM10 cash voucher, mini dessert, Tony’s Asian salad, a strawberry lemonade mocktail, half onion loaf or even a mystery gift.
