THE Tiger FC Away Game at Republic, Sunway Pyramid recently saw a spectacular football celebration as fans were treated to an exciting and high-strung viewing environment.
The Away Game played host to the fans’ celebration as Arsenal bagged their eighth consecutive win of the season at Stamford Bridge, beating Chelsea.
Viewers who registered as a fan of either Arsenal or Chelsea at the Away Game were treated to giveaways throughout the night upon each goal scored by their favourite clubs.
Rewarded for goal: Tiger promoters giving out headscarves to Arsenal fans as their team scored their first goal of the night. “It was a really nice surprise when Tiger FC started giving out Arsenal headscarves to the fans when they scored their first goal.
“It is a refreshing proposition Tiger FC is offering this season, by rewarding the fans for their passion and loyalty to their clubs.
“I think this was a major plus point which dialled up the rivalry here at Republic throughout the night, as it ended with an amazing 5-3 victory to Arsenal,” said Hong Wee Juen, long-time Arsenal fan.
Going the extra mile to reward the fans, Tiger FC is also giving away a 40” Sony LCD TV at every Away Game and Big Away Game events this season.
Most knowledgeable: Republic Bar general manager Rajendra Subra presenting a framed home jersey to Wei Kiat, who won the trivia games conducted throughout the night. Lim Ee Mae was the winner of the night after a lucky draw, as none of the fans managed to correctly predict the outcome of the match.
Tiger FC also gave away a framed home jersey of the two clubs to the two most knowledgeable fans of the night.
Astro AEC personality Bernard Hiew was the emcee of the night and tested the fans’ knowledge on the two clubs over several rounds of trivia games.
The most knowledgeable Arsenal and Chelsea fans Lim Wei Kiat and Nwodo Princely took home the framed jerseys.
